By many standards, I’m just a normal girl. I’m not a celebrity, I don’t fly around the world in a private jet, I don’t have a personal chef or trainer, a make-up artist and hair-stylist have never walked through my door, and there is no maid at my house. I work full-time, have two kids, a husband, and a dog, I have wrinkles, I dye my hair, I worry about my weight…I’m getting older. That’s what I mean by normal.
However, I’m living an amazing, fun, fit, fabulous above average life! It doesn’t just happen, I work at it, but I am a firm believer in making things happen. My family is wonderful (not to be confused with perfect), my job is meaningful, I’m a Rotarian (more about that later), I travel the world (amazing adventures!), I love to bake, I look pretty damn good for 54, and I truly believe we all have the power to change, ourselves, our community and the world.
Why write a blog? I love storytelling! I’m positive, passionate, creative, and (I hope) inspirational. I’m not naïve, I know we are all ageing, but that doesn’t mean we have to get old. Why not have fun, be fit, and feel fabulous after 50! So turn up the music and let’s go out and rock this world!
