INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION
There are many ways we can be inspired and motivated; our children, friends, colleagues, books, music, a quote, and occasionally even the news. For me, a great deal of inspiration comes from being a Rotarian.
Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Rotary is an international organization of amazing people, doing incredible work.
As an example, my club holds an annual Family Festival. Basically, we throw a party for children ages 3-16 who are in the foster system and ready for adoption.
Parents approved to adopt come and interact with the kids in a more natural environment; playing games, decorating cupcakes, and going on a treasure hunt. It is such a joy for the members of the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club to help children find their forever families!
This is where I want to be; a place where we build each other up, help each other out, and inspire each other to give back, and to live life fully.
